In 2006, Labelpak became the only company in SA to offer its clients the benefits
of flexographic, waterless and digital printing. The differences between the
three
methods are as diverse as are their respective advantages and
disadvantages.
Digital Printing: How it Works
The HP Indigo's works with electro-Ink and has the highest quality of all the other
printers such as flexo or waterless printers.
The charge of a PIP on to the blanket
with the electro-Ink makes its temporary "plate" or image, that can be changed in
a blink of an eye
.

Advantages and Disadvantages
Labelpak regards as the most important advantage of digital printing the
fact that no loss of definition occurs during reproduction or quality.
Because
of the very small
dot-sizes used during digital printing, the process is able to
offer a zero
percent vignette.
Digital printing require no plates and that offers quick colour setup and, thus,
reduced set-up
waste.
This results in cleaner, sharper images.
Other benefits include:
Consistent colour
Die Cutting and Finishing HP's Quality and Various
The HP's Print Material compatebility

And one of the best would be to do window labels in
one go, yes dubble-sided labels with one pass.
